Lake Awaddy (a well known fishing lake) is 2mins walk from the from the front door, 5mins walk takes you to the Equestrian Centre, Saloon Bar & Restraunt. There is a Childrens Playground & Tennis Court on site and use of Rowing Boats & Life Jackets on Drumcoura Lake.
"The Outpost" is 2hrs drive from Dublin.

Heating (gas) & electricity is payable onsite to the keyholder. Its included in the rate in July & August and €5 per day in all other months.

If you want to get out & about try Swan Island just 10mins drive with Pub & Bistro, Farm Animals, Playground, Boating, Wake Boarding etc or Ballinamore Town (12mins drive) and the lively town of Carrick-on-Shannon (30mins Drive) both offering a range of Shops, Restraunts, Pubs etc.

• Glenview Folk Museum is located a ten minute drive. 
  Leitirm/Cavan railway with an active steam engine is a 20 minute drive
  Loughkey Forest is a 35 minute drive
  Arigna mining experience is a 24 minute drive
