Ocean Sands Apartments

The apartments are located in the grounds (but managed separately) of the brand new Ocean Sands Hotel with the Onyx Bar & Jaspers Restaurant onsite.  This magnificent new development of brand new 4* holiday apartments is the ideal family destination.   Located right opposite Enniscrone's children's playground and Enniscrone Beach, you are located right in the heart of family activities.  In addition, Dream Ireland guests are entitled to special discounts at Waterpoint Leisure Centre (see details below). 

There are 2 bed & 3 bed apartments available sleeping from 2-6 people.

2 Bedroom Ground Floor Apartments sleeping up to 4:   These are located on the ground floor with partial seaviews & comprise; 1 x double bedroom ensuite & 1 x twin bedroom with main bathroom, an open plan living/dining area has been stylisly furnished with all your comforts in mind. The kitchen area has been fitted with all the modern conveniences including washer/dryer, dishwasher, oven, fridge/freezer, microwave and all the cutlery, crockery & glassware you would require.

2 bedroom Duplex Apartments sleeping up to 4:  These duplex apartments are located on the first floor with partial seaviews & comprise; 2 double bedrooms with main bathroom, an open plan living/dining area has been stylisly furnished with all your comforts in mind. The kitchen area has been fitted with all the modern conveniences including washer/dryer, dishwasher, oven, fridge/freezer, microwave and all the cutlery, crockery & glassware you would require.  The bedrooms are located downstairs and large double doors open out into your own private and fully enclosed garden area.  Upstairs is a magnificent balcony leading off from the living room. 

3 Bedroom Duplex Apartments sleeping up to 6:   Located above the smaller 2 bedroom ground floor units, these apartments comprise; 2 x double rooms (1 of which is ensuite) and 1 room with bunkbeds ONLY suitable for children, with a shared main bathroom.  All bedrooms and bathrooms are located on the ground floor of these apartments.   The large bright open plan kitchen cum living/dining area is located upstairs so as to take maximum advantage of the panoramic views overlooking Enniscrone's golden sandy beach.

PLEASE NOTE THAT THERE ARE NO LIFTS IN THIS COMPLEX OF APARTMENTS

Electricity and gas for heating and lighting is an extra charge and is payable to the Hotel reception on departure.  Both are based on a daily charge of Euro €5.00 per day for May, June, July and August and Euro €7.00 per day for the remainder of the year & a  security deposit of €100.00 must be given to Hotel Reception on arrival.  This will be returned to you provided that they are satisfied that the terms and conditions of the rental have been complied with. 

Please note that the Ocean Sands Hotel Closes on the 24th Dec at 12 noon & will reopen on the 26th at 3pm, the hotel will be opened for a few hours on Christmas day and will be serving Christmas dinner between 12.30 and 3.30pm.

• Children's Playground: Located right across from the Ocean Sands Apartments, Enniscrone children's playground is great for keeping your children occupied with swings & slides & lots more.  Most of the apartments at Ocean Sands offer a great viewing point for your children as they play in the playground. 
  
• Seaweed Baths: Kilcullen Seaweed Baths, located in Enniscrone offer seaweed & massage treatments & are the perfect way to relax & unwind 
  
• Golf: Situated with a view of the Atlantic at Killala Bay, the Enniscrone course designed by Eddie Hackett has created a battery of interesting holes which will draw on most of your clubs to negotiate. 
  
• Surfing: Seventh Wave Surf School is located at Enniscrone Beach, an idyllic location that has over two miles of excellent surfing conditions suitable for the novice and intermediate surfer.The School is run by Linda Byrne, Manager of the Irish Junior Surf Team, and Gerard Byrne, one time Irish Surf Team Member. Gerard has 35 years surfing experience. Gerard also shapes custom surfboards, and offers a surfboard repair service.

• Fishing: Enniscrone offers both the serious and recreational angler a paradise of rock, beach, estuary and deep sea fishing. During the summer period organized fishing trips leave four times a day from the local pier. The River Moy has long been famous as Ireland's premier salmon river and it offers a wide variety of quality angling to suit all tastes and budgets. Most of the main Moy channel, and some of its larger tributaries provide excellent spring salmon and grilse fishingwith both fly and bait. Sea trout are also abundant in the Moy and the dry fly fishing for brown trout can also be excellent.
