Ho, ho, ho. Santa has lots of goodies in store for all you big kids this Xmas. Every county in Ireland has its own festive thing going on. There are a wide range of exciting activities to be sought all over the country, from markets and fairs to ice skating shows and pantomimes...let’s take a look and see!
County Dublin
Dublin Xmas market will open 24th Nov – 24th Dec and then re-open 27th – 1st Jan, giving you plenty of time to take in the festive delights of this wonderful German style market. It will be filled with 50 stalls and beautifully lit with over 1000 Xmas lights and held at the shopping centre in Tallaght.
7up Winter Wonderland, Dublin’s biggest and newest winter park, is on 8th Dec – 8th Jan and features Ireland’s largest ice rink, Xmas circus, rides and attractions, market stalls and lots of lovely cafes and restaurants to hang out in, in between all the excitement!
The one and only Tommy Tiernan will come to Dublin’s Mansion House on the 16th Dec just to entertain and lift your spirits even higher, with his Long Lunch show. This un-missable event comes with wine reception, three course gala lunch and full bar facilities. How could you say no!

The magical Disney on Ice returns for a fantastic Worlds of Fantasy show on 26th Dec and is certainly not to be missed. With a fabulous mix of Car’s, Toy Story, Little Mermaid and Disney Fairy characters, it really is going to be a wonderful experience for kids both big and small!
Funderland will open its doors straight after Xmas season on 26th – 8th Jan. Join the many that will be prolonging the festive fun, on the many exciting rides here in Dublin’s Famous Theme Park.
